Each year Marte and I celebrate our wedding anniversary with a pub crawl around Boston. It first started in 2014 by accident on our first anniversary night out. We got in the city early to “pre-game” which turned into hoping around Boston bars before dinner.

This post is a little later than I hoped mostly because I never got around to downloading the pictures from our trip until this weekend. I think I should invest in one of those cameras with the wifi built in.

As already noted, we’re funny travelers. Dave and I avoid hotels and resorts and gravitate towards having our own space.

 When we’re able to, we rent a house or apartment and we’ve had great luck. In 2013 we rented a lake house in Olympic National Park for our honeymoon and last year we rented a flat just off the Grassmarket in Edinburgh for our visit to Scotland.
