Our Cat Your Cat

Once upon a time it might have been unorthodox to move in with your significant other prior to marriage, but thankfully these are different times. Besides, I don’t think Marte and I would have wanted to wait. Our lives were colliding fast and to move forward we took the living together plunge prior to getting engaged. I highly recommend this step as it eases in the “sharing your life” transition more gradually.

Catering to Caterers

If you’re going to get married, in an out of the way location, in New York, you can expect your catering services to be limited. Finding a caterer to suit our needs, at our location, at a reasonable price, has been like a finding a lost paper air plane in a category 5 tornado.

We’re Engaged, and That’s Okay

We got engaged. This has come as very little shock to us or anyone who knows us. We have been together nearly three blissful years. We moved in together, found jobs in the same city together, and my family had begun a betting pool to determine when the actual engagement would happen. My sister won through some insider trading practices. We’re both very excited and very happy and look forward to sharing the special day to come with friends and family.
